Giclees

A Giclee limited edition graphic is a fine art graphic process with a customized colour setting for each image.

The French term “Giclee” meaning spray of ink, is often used to describe the process because “4” precision nozzles spray up to a million microscopic droplets per second on fine art rag or canvas.

Each image captures the richness and subtle nuances of the master painting because each piece is individually hand mounted and prepared then a U.V. protective coating is applied.

Hide the giclee details

Each giclee on canvas is hand stretched on wooden stretcher bars, then James signs each piece with his painted signature in alkyd or acrylic paint and it’s numbered on the back.

The graphics are miraculously detailed, lush in color with all the tones of pigments that James uses. The giclees even look “as if” they are hand painted because the impression of each individual brush stroke is captured.

This exciting era of new technology has blended science and the arts to successfully design a new fine art graphic. More importantly, the giclee process offers Hoyle Collectors a stunning work of art with character and style, therefore making its personality as striking as the original Hoyle master painting.
