The rural setting of Hanapepe has offered limitless visual sustenance
for Hoyle’s rustic appetite. Hoyle’s roots in Hawaii began here. He opened his first gallery a
decade ago in Hanapepe, Kauai.
|Hoyle has dedicated himself to recording images of old Hawaii –
richly weathered camp houses that await the bulldozer. The array of many colorful blooming
wildflowers amidst rustic camp houses is part of Hawaii’s charming rural ambience. This romantic
past is rapidly vanishing.
Reminisce with Hoyle by collecting from his camp house
scenes one of his personal favorites.
